Loss of use can be paramont for a business / airbnb / rental property.  Check with your insurance agent on your Loss of Use; this includes things such as: receiving rent payments from the insurance if the tenant must move out during repairs; and for any business any type of payment made by the insurance to make up for any lost business due to the covered loss insurance claim.

If you are renting out a home, be sure you let your agent know and get proper insurance or you may not be covered for certain losses.

Wet building materials are dried by vapor pressure differential.  This is basically the same idea that wet goes to dry, hot goes to cold; if you dry out the air around the materials, it accellerates the drying time.  Increasing the drying envelope is a great way to increase the vapor pressure differencial.  The most common way to do this is to introduce heat into the atmostphere.  Dry Heat.  If it's the middle of summer in Missouri, opening your windows will not help dry the building.  But, running dehumidifiers and heaters together, increases the heat (hot air can hold more water than cold air) and it begins to remove the water from the atmosphere.    Often times bigger equipment is needed on commercial dryouts such as generators, ducted heaters, ducted dehumidifiers.
